Is community chat free, or do fans have to buy something to join?

How fans get into community chat on an EVEN release, why entry stays open, how the room is moderated, what your team sees in the dashboard, and why the community keeps running between campaigns.

Community chat is free to join on every EVEN release. A fan makes a free account and walks into the room. No purchase is necessary, and nobody has to buy anything to take part.

Why entry stays open

We keep entry open on purpose, for two reasons. Fans who show up before they buy are often the ones who go on to spend the most, so asking for a purchase first would shut out the people a campaign most wants to reach. Open entry also keeps promotional offerings eligible under applicable chart rules, which matters when you are running a chart campaign.

How the chat is moderated

EVEN’s team moderates STUDIO chats using internal tools. Admins have full dashboard access. Members need Fan Chat page access to view messages and the separate Chat moderation permission to ban or unban fans.

What your team sees

AI sentiment scoring runs in the dashboard. It tells your team how the whole room feels, not just what the loudest fans are posting. During release week you can see whether fans are happy or unhappy early enough to act on it.

What the artist can do in the chat

The artist can post updates, drop content and go live without leaving the site. The Feed and Content modules put artist posts, video and behind-the-scenes material right next to the music, and Livestreams run inside the STUDIO instead of sending fans off to another platform. Every fan who joins the chat is a fan the artist can reach again for the next release.

Between campaigns

You do not have to switch the community off when a campaign ends. Fans keep showing up, and the next rollout starts warm rather than cold. We recommend leaving the STUDIO running between campaigns rather than archiving it.
