Do fans need to download an app?

Why a STUDIO site installs from the browser instead of an app store, how fans sign in, what sits inside the site once modules are turned on, and how fans control texts and emails.

Fans do not need to download anything from an app store. Every EVEN-powered site is installable in its own right, so a fan adds the artist’s site to their homescreen and it runs like a native app from there.

Installing from the browser

A fan installs the same site the artist launched. There is no separate app to search for, and the install happens on the site itself rather than in an app store. A fan who never installs it still gets everything by opening the site in a browser.

Sign-in is a one-time code

Signing in takes a one-time code, sent by text or email. Fans never create a password, so there is nothing for them to remember and nothing to reset.

Nothing to buy to get in

Fans join with a free account. Community chat is free on every EVEN release, and no purchase is necessary. We keep it that way on purpose, and it also keeps promotional offerings eligible under applicable chart rules.

What lives inside it

The site holds whatever the campaign turns on. The Feed, Content and Livestreams modules let the artist post updates, drop exclusive content and go live on their own site. When the Touring module is running, tour dates, presale signups and hotel booking sit there too. All of it runs on the artist’s own domain instead of sending fans out to other platforms, so a fan can move from the release to content, merch and touring without ever leaving the site.

Fans stay in control of updates

Texts and emails are separate, and fans control each one. To stop texts, a fan replies STOP to any text. To stop emails, they use the unsubscribe link in any email. Stopping one leaves the other running, and no message is ever a condition of buying anything.
