Who handles chart registration and campaign communication?

EVEN manages reporting; the label supplies the offer, metadata, pre-order count and campaign documentation.

EVEN manages the reporting relationship and sales submissions to Luminate for US Billboard reporting and to OCC and Kantar for the UK. The label remains responsible for its campaign information, marketing documentation and approved offer.

EVEN’s responsibilities

EVEN handles campaign notification and registration, qualifying sales feeds, authentication and redemption records, and responses to chart-data queries. Chart bodies determine eligibility under their applicable rules.

The label’s responsibilities

Supply accurate UPC and ISRC metadata, the final offer and pricing, delivery information, street date and marketing plan. For UK campaigns, provide the pre-order count before street date and redemption, and keep the campaign’s marketing documentation current. EVEN reminds the label, but does not take over those label submissions.

US timing

A new storefront URL requires Luminate/Billboard approval at least 14 days before offers go live. An already approved, live storefront needs no new URL approval. Release-specific eligibility and registration still need to be confirmed with EVEN.

UK timing

Every UK campaign requires written notification to OCC and Kantar at least 14 days before launch, including campaigns on existing storefronts. Material changes must be notified within one business day, so raise them with EVEN promptly.

Coordinate changes before announcing them

Keep the label and EVEN aligned on the offer, pricing, tracklist, territories and dates. Do not apply the US storefront exception or US early-track cap to UK campaigns. Your EVEN team confirms the rules for each territory in the release plan.
