How does EVEN report chart-qualifying sales?

EVEN submits territory-specific sales data after the offer and redemption requirements are met.

EVEN uses DDEX-based feeds for Luminate in the US and daily transaction files for OCC and Kantar in the UK. The applicable chart rules determine which sales qualify.

Prepare accurate metadata

Supply a valid album UPC and an ISRC for every track through your label or distributor. EVEN checks the campaign data during setup and handles its registration and reporting responsibilities.

Purchase and redemption

For qualifying digital-album pre-orders, reporting follows the fan’s authentication and first play or download on or after street date. A purchase without redemption is not a reportable unit. Add-ons are not additional album sales, and incentives or bundles can affect the offer’s eligibility.

UK reporting details

UK files use UK billing-country records, GBP transaction values and the actual amount paid, together with delivery and redemption information. Every campaign requires 14 days’ advance notice. The label supplies its pre-order count before street date and redemption, and keeps marketing documentation current.

Other territories

US reporting follows the Billboard/Luminate framework. Australian campaigns are set up under the applicable Australian rules, with treatment confirmed by EVEN for the campaign. Do not assume that a UK price floor, track cap or approval process applies elsewhere.

Changes, refunds and takedowns

Notify EVEN before changing the offer or taking a release down. Refunds, chargebacks and reporting corrections follow the applicable process and agreement; do not assume that submitted records can never be corrected or that a refund automatically changes a published chart.
