What happens to content access after a campaign ends?
The artist and team decide how long content remains available and what changes at the end of a campaign.
The artist and team control access to content. The end of a campaign does not, by itself, establish a permanent-access promise or an automatic cutoff. The release’s approved offer and the agreement determine what fans can access and for how long.
Decide the access window before launch
Confirm the listening window, whether downloads are available and what happens after the campaign. Make those conditions clear in the fan-facing offer before purchases open.
Closing, archiving or taking down a release
Ask your EVEN team to coordinate the change. Specify whether you are ending new sales, changing access for existing purchasers or taking the content down. These are different actions and should be communicated accurately to fans.
Keeping the destination open
Your team can plan to keep the artist’s destination active between releases. Confirm the content, community and access settings with EVEN rather than assuming that every campaign continues unchanged.
