How are purchases authenticated?
Account verification and payment controls help authenticate fans and protect transactions.
Fans verify their account using a one-time code sent to their email or phone. They should return using the same identity they used for the purchase to find their content.
Payment and account controls
EVEN checkout uses payment authentication and anti-fraud controls, including card fingerprinting, reCAPTCHA and email verification. Shopify checkout uses the partner’s payment setup. These controls reduce abuse; they are not a guarantee that every account or transaction is risk-free.
Chart campaigns
Qualifying offers follow the applicable account, purchase and redemption rules for the territory. Payment alone does not necessarily create a reportable album sale.
Help with a purchase
Fans can contact support@even.biz with the receipt number and a description of the issue. Refunds and chargebacks are handled according to the checkout model and agreement.
