How does early access work?

Give fans a reason to buy directly before the wider release.

Early access lets a campaign make music available to eligible fans before the wider release. The selection of tracks and access timing are set around the release plan.

Fans can listen through the artist’s player on the site. Confirm your campaign’s access window and what a purchase includes with the Studio team before announcing the offer.

Plan the listening window

Identify the tracks fans can access, when access starts, when the wider release happens and which purchase unlocks it. Record the time zone for each milestone. Confirm the plan with your Studio team before announcing it.

Review the experience on a phone

Check that the offer describes what fans receive and when. Review the player and the route from purchase to listening. Early access should feel like an intentional listening experience on the artist’s site.

If a fan cannot listen

Ask which page they opened and what they see, then share the affected URL and device/browser with support. Do not ask them to send passwords or payment-card details.
