Do physical sales and bundles count toward the charts?

How physical product, bundles and variants are treated on a STUDIO campaign that reports to the charts, why early track access is digital only, what can be reported on a mixed campaign, and why the full plan belongs at kickoff.

Physical sales are reported under the chart rules for physical product. Those rules are separate from the ones covering digital albums. Bundles are treated separately again, and your EVEN team configures both during setup.

Early access is digital only

Exclusive early track access attaches to digital albums only, so you cannot offer it with a physical album purchase. This one catches teams out. A vinyl or CD order cannot carry early listening as its reward, and you cannot bundle a physical pre-order with early access.

Bundles

Ask EVEN to review the complete offer before opening sales. Under the UK framework, the qualifying digital-album purchase cannot be bundled with tickets, merch or physical products, or attached to competitions, vouchers or unrelated gifts. US physical and digital offers follow their own applicable rules.

Variants

Physical products can use variant pricing, limited runs, signed editions and purchase limits where the campaign permits them. Confirm the applicable variant limits with EVEN for each territory. Do not assume that a US D2C variant limit applies to UK campaigns.

What can be reported on a mixed campaign

Qualifying physical and digital sales follow their respective reporting requirements. Add-ons are not extra album units, and a bundled incentive can affect eligibility. Review the full checkout and offer with EVEN rather than assuming extras never affect reporting.

Plan the whole picture early

Bring your full physical and digital plan to kickoff, rather than adding products as the campaign runs. Configuring a compliant setup up front is straightforward. Unpicking a non-compliant one after pre-orders open is not.
