Where does music revenue go for signed artists?

How revenue from a STUDIO campaign is routed for signed artists, which items can be routed directly to the artist or team, when the split is configured, and where the commercial terms for a campaign live.

Music revenue goes to the label for royalty accounting under the campaign agreement. The label accounts to the artist from there.

Why it works that way

A STUDIO campaign for a signed artist runs inside the label relationship you already have. Money from the music flows to the label, and the label accounts to the artist under the terms that already govern the release. The campaign does not build a second royalty structure next to the one you have.

Non-music revenue can be routed separately

Experiences and products not tied to the music can sit on the same STUDIO, with revenue routed to the artist or team directly. That covers events, non-music merchandise and other offerings attached to the site rather than to the release.

Getting the split right up front

You settle the split during campaign setup, before any money moves. Decide which items count as music revenue and which ones route separately. Bring the full product list to kickoff, so your EVEN team can configure the routing before anything goes on sale.

Independent artists

Independent artists have no label in the middle. Revenue reaches the artist or their team directly, under their own campaign terms.

Where to find your terms

Your label or distributor holds the commercial terms for your campaign, not EVEN. Ask them about splits and rates.
